Restaurant delivery software for kitchens that run their own drivers.

Hot food is a deadline, not a delivery. PrivateMile plans against the clock, assigns the nearest driver the moment an order is ready, and raises a flag while the meal can still be saved.

Why restaurants & cloud kitchens teams pick it

Built for the way your deliveries actually go.

Auto-dispatch when the order is ready

Nearest driver, round-robin, load-balanced or by zone — the rule is yours. Orders are assigned in seconds and appear on the driver’s phone before the bag is sealed.

ETAs that survive the dinner rush

Traffic-aware arrival times recalculated as drivers move. When an order is about to miss its window, dispatch is alerted while there is still time to act.

Tracking under your brand

Customers watch their driver on a page with your logo, not a marketplace’s. Automatic SMS at every status change means nobody calls the kitchen to ask.

Commission-free, and it shows

Cash-on-delivery, card and cheque collection recorded on the spot. Driver pay by stop, distance or shift, and reports that show what each delivery actually cost.

A dinner rush on PrivateMile

Orders come in from the phone, your website or your ordering platform and land on one board. As each one is marked ready, auto-dispatch assigns it against the rule you chose — nearest available driver, fair rotation, or whoever has the lightest load — and the driver’s phone buzzes.

Dispatch watches the map. Every driver, every order, every ETA is live, and a planning timeline shows how the next hour stacks up. When two orders in the same neighbourhood are ready within minutes of each other, they are batched onto one driver with the stops in the right order.

The driver app does one thing at a time: pick up, navigate, deliver. Proof at the door can be a photo of the bag at the doorstep — enough to end most “it never arrived” disputes — and cash or card collected on delivery is recorded immediately.

What the customer sees

A tracking link, sent automatically, on a page with your restaurant’s name and colours. A live map of the driver. An “arriving soon” message a few minutes out. They do not call the kitchen, and they do not see a marketplace brand between you and them.

Cloud kitchens and multi-site

Each kitchen is a warehouse with its own delivery zone, its own drivers if you want, and its own reports. Orders route to the right site automatically. A dispatcher can run three kitchens from one screen or each site can run its own — teams and roles decide who sees what.

What it costs to deliver

PrivateMile measures distance from work actually completed, so driver pay (per stop, per kilometre, per shift, with bonuses) and cost per delivery are real numbers, not estimates. Plans are priced by monthly order volume with no per-driver fees, so adding drivers for Friday night does not change your bill.

FAQ

Questions teams ask before switching.

Something else? Ask a human.

Can it replace a third-party delivery marketplace?

For orders you take directly — phone, your website, your ordering app — yes. PrivateMile runs your own drivers end to end: dispatch, navigation, tracking, proof and pay. Orders from your online store can flow in automatically via Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Ecwid, BigCommerce or Zapier.

How does it handle two or three kitchens?

Each kitchen is a warehouse with its own zone. Orders route to the right location automatically, drivers can be attached to a kitchen or float between them, and reports break down by site.

What happens when a driver is stuck in traffic with three orders?

The ETAs on all three orders update live. If any is predicted to miss its window, dispatch sees a late flag and can reassign one stop to a closer driver from the map. Customers see the updated arrival time on their tracking page.

Do drivers need training?

The driver app is a clear list of stops with one primary action per screen and turn-by-turn handoff to the maps app they already use. Most drivers are comfortable on their first shift.
