Laundry pickup and delivery software for jobs with two legs.
Every laundry order is really two deliveries: the pickup and the return. PrivateMile keeps them paired, in the right order, on the right driver — and lets the customer follow both live.
Why laundry & home services teams pick it
Built for the way your deliveries actually go.
Pickup and return, paired
A job is a pickup stop and a delivery stop that belong together. Route planning keeps them in sequence, so a return never gets scheduled before its pickup.
Customers who know when to be home
Automatic SMS and email on both legs, a live map and an “arriving soon” message under your brand. Fewer missed pickups, fewer re-attempts.
Proof at collection and at return
A photo of the bag at pickup, a photo or signature at return. When a customer asks about a missing item, the record is on the order.
Payment at the door
Cash, card or cheque collected on the doorstep is recorded instantly with the amount and method. Nothing to reconcile from memory later.
A laundry route on PrivateMile
Jobs arrive from your booking site or app, or are imported for the week. Each is a pickup and a return with a window on each leg. Dispatch plans by area; the optimizer proposes a shorter stop order that respects the pairing — no return before its pickup — and dispatch reviews it on the map before applying.
The driver app shows one stop at a time. At a pickup, a photo of the bag and a note (“two bags, one comforter”). At a return, a photo at the door or a signature, and payment if it is due. Arrival is detected automatically by geofence, and in an apartment basement with no signal everything is stored on the phone and synced later.
What the customer sees
A message when the driver is assigned, another when they are a few minutes out, and a live map on a page carrying your business’s name. On the return leg, the same again. Customers who know when to be home mean fewer missed pickups and fewer wasted stops.
Home services beyond laundry
The same paired-stop pattern fits any service with a collection and a return — alterations, shoe repair, equipment servicing, document couriers. Proof rules, notification wording and windows are settings you control.
Running the business
Reports show completed jobs, on-time rate on each leg, driver performance and cost per stop, all measured from work actually completed. Driver pay by stop, distance or shift. Plans are priced by monthly order volume with no per-driver fees, so adding a driver for the weekend rush changes nothing on the bill.

How does it handle a pickup and a return on the same order?
An order can carry multiple tasks — a pickup and a delivery — and route planning keeps them in the right sequence. The customer’s tracking page follows both legs, and proof can be captured at each.
Can customers book a window for the pickup?
Windows are set on the order, from your website or ordering system or by dispatch, and carried through planning, the driver app and the customer’s notifications.
What about recurring weekly customers?
Import the week’s jobs in bulk — up to 2,000 orders per CSV — or let them flow in from your booking system through the API or Zapier. Auto-dispatch by zone keeps regulars with the driver who knows the route.
Do we need a separate app for the customer?
No. Customers get a tracking link with your logo on it. If you prefer, there is also a customer app they can install once — either way they see the same live map.
