Furniture delivery scheduling software for big items and bigger stakes.
A sofa is a window someone took the afternoon off for. PrivateMile schedules the window, warns the customer when the truck is close, and captures the photo that settles a damage claim before it starts.
Why furniture & appliances teams pick it
Built for the way your deliveries actually go.
Windows customers plan around
Scheduled delivery windows on every order, traffic-aware ETAs, and an automatic “arriving soon” message so nobody sits at home all day waiting.
Photo proof of condition
Photos at the door — the item in place, the packaging, the doorway — attached to the order. Most damage claims end at the photo.
Crews, not just drivers
Assign a truck with a two-person crew, keep heavy items with the right vehicle, and schedule weekly shifts so the crew that knows the route runs it.
Fewer failed deliveries
Notifications at every step and a live tracking page mean the customer is home when the truck arrives. A failed attempt is recorded with a reason and a photo.
A big-item delivery day on PrivateMile
Orders arrive from your store or scheduling system with the customer, address, the item and the agreed window. Dispatch assigns each to a truck and crew, and the optimizer proposes a stop order that keeps the windows honest. A planning timeline shows when each truck reaches each address, so a 1–4pm promise is checked before the truck leaves the warehouse.
On the day
The customer gets a message when the truck is assigned and another when it is twenty minutes out, with a live map on a page carrying your brand. Arrival is detected automatically. At the door the crew photographs the item in place and its condition, collects a signature, and records any payment due. If nobody is home, the failed attempt is recorded with a reason and a photo, and dispatch can reschedule from the board.
When a claim comes in
The order has the photos, the signature, the GPS point and the timestamp. Most damage conversations end there. Reports show first-attempt success rate, on-time rate and cost per delivery — measured from work actually completed.
The fleet
Trucks have odometers that accrue from completed routes, service-due reminders, and alerts before insurance or registration lapses. Fuel and distance cost are reported per vehicle. Weekly shift scheduling keeps crews consistent. Plans are priced by monthly order volume, not by truck or driver.

Can customers pick a delivery window?
Windows are set on the order — from your store, your scheduling system or by dispatch — and carried through planning, the driver app and the customer’s notifications. ETAs within the window update live as the truck moves.
How do we handle a delivery that needs two people?
Assign the order to a vehicle with its crew. Vehicle capacity and type are part of planning, so a sofa is not routed onto a van that cannot take it.
What proof do drivers capture?
Whatever your rules require: photos of the item in place and of its condition, a signature from the customer, and notes. All of it attaches to the order and is there when a claim comes in.
What happens when nobody is home?
The driver records a failed attempt with a reason and a photo. Dispatch sees it immediately and can reschedule; the customer gets a notification. Because customers are warned when the truck is close, this happens far less often.
