What is Dispatch board?
The screen where a delivery operation is run: every order, driver and route in one view, the day planned against the clock, and the live state of each delivery.
A dispatch board answers three questions at a glance: what needs to go out, who is taking it, and is anything in trouble. Orders arrive on it from every source. Dispatch assigns them by dragging, by rule, or by asking. A map shows every driver live; a timeline shows when each driver reaches each stop; flags show the orders predicted to run late.
The board is also where the operation is measured. Because every assignment, arrival and completion happens through it, on-time rates and cost per delivery are facts rather than estimates.
In PrivateMile: the dispatch board is the web command centre — orders as a kanban or table, a live map, a planning timeline, drag-and-drop assignment or one-tap auto-dispatch, late-order and driver-health alerts, and chat with every driver in the field.
