Wix Stores orders, on your dispatch board when they’re paid.
A short Velo backend function on your Wix site posts each paid order to PrivateMile. From there it is planned, assigned and tracked like any other delivery — under your brand.
How it connects
From a Wix order to a driver’s phone.
Nothing to install on your store and nothing to keep updated — the connection is a webhook you create once.
01
Create the Wix integration in PrivateMile
Settings → Integrations → Wix. PrivateMile generates an endpoint URL and a secret for your site.
02
Add a Velo backend function
In your Wix site’s backend, add an HTTP function that listens for wixStores onOrderPaid (or onNewOrder) and POSTs the order to the PrivateMile URL with the secret. We provide the snippet.
03
Dispatch as usual
Paid orders appear on the board with the customer, address and items. Plan, assign or auto-dispatch; the customer gets a tracking link when a driver is assigned.
What flows in
Every field the driver needs, already on the stop.
Orders arrive with the customer, address, items and notes attached — dispatch never retypes anything.
- Customer name, phone and email
- Shipping address, geocoded to a map pin
- Line items and quantities
- Wix order number as the reference
- Buyer note from checkout
After the order lands
What your customers notice.
Tracking that matches your site
Live map, arrival window and notifications under your brand — the same care your Wix site puts into the storefront, carried to the doorstep.
Only paid orders, if you want
Trigger on onOrderPaid and unpaid orders never reach dispatch. Trigger on onNewOrder if you dispatch on order placement.
Secret-checked
The secret travels with every request and is verified before the order is created.
How the Wix connection works
Wix Stores exposes order events to your site’s backend through Velo. A backend HTTP function subscribes to onOrderPaid — or onNewOrder, if you dispatch before payment — and POSTs the order to the endpoint PrivateMile gives you, along with the integration’s secret. PrivateMile verifies the secret and creates the order.
What dispatch sees
The order arrives with the customer, phone, geocoded shipping address, line items and buyer note, with the Wix order number as its reference. The delivery window defaults to your organisation’s setting. Plan it, assign it or let auto-dispatch choose, and follow it to the door.
What the customer sees
A tracking link when a driver is assigned, on a page carrying your logo and colours — live map, arrival window, “arriving soon”, and proof of delivery when it lands.
Growing past one site
Each Wix site can be its own integration; each depot its own warehouse with a zone. Orders route to the right place and reports break down by site.
Why a Velo function rather than a native Wix webhook?
Wix’s native webhooks are designed for apps published in the Wix App Market, which sign requests with rotating Wix-hosted keys. For a per-store connection, a small Velo backend function that listens for the order event and POSTs it to PrivateMile is simpler, and it is entirely under your control.
Do I need to write code?
You paste a short snippet we provide into your site’s backend and add your PrivateMile URL and secret. It takes a few minutes; we can do it with you on the trial.
Does delivery status go back into Wix?
Delivery status reaches your customer through PrivateMile’s tracking page, SMS and email. Every delivery event is also available as an outbound webhook and a Zapier trigger for other systems.
Other integrations
Plugs into what you already run.
Connect Wix in an afternoon.
Create the integration on the trial, paste one webhook URL into your store, and watch the next order appear on the board.
