PrivateMile vs GetSwift: an honest comparison.
GetSwift is a long-standing delivery management and dispatch tool. PrivateMile covers the same territory with every feature on every plan and a bill driven by monthly order volume rather than counted per delivery. Here is the comparison.
The honest version
Who each one is for.
Both tools run real delivery operations. The difference is what kind of operation, and what you pay as it grows.
Choose PrivateMile if
You want a predictable monthly bill rather than a per-delivery meter, every capability included from the first plan, and depth on proof, driver pay and reporting as volume grows.
Choose GetSwift if
Per-delivery pricing suits your volume pattern, or you are already integrated with GetSwift in a way that would be expensive to unpick.

Where the two differ most
Metered against predictable. A per-delivery meter tracks activity, which sounds fair and makes your best months your most expensive ones. It also makes budgeting awkward: the bill is only knowable in arrears.
Order-volume plans work the other way. You pick a band, the bill is the same every month inside it, and it moves only when the business grows past a boundary. For an operation planning a year, that predictability tends to be worth more than the marginal fairness of a meter.
What is included without an add-on. Route optimization, QR-verified proof, OTP handoffs, offline capture, cash collection, white-label tracking, every store integration, driver pay and cost reporting, and the AI copilot are all on the $150 plan. When comparing any two prices, list the capabilities you need for a normal delivery day and confirm each is in the tier you are pricing.
Depth on proof and pay. These are the two areas worth examining closely if you are switching: proof that is enforced rather than requested and verifiable rather than merely photographic, and driver pay computed from routes actually driven rather than routes planned.
What switching looks like
Most teams run both side by side for a few days on the trial: same orders, same drivers, two boards. Import is a CSV, the driver app installs from the App Store or Google Play, and tracking pages go live with your logo the same day. If something you rely on today is missing here, we would rather tell you before you switch than after.
Pricing
Priced by volume. Never per driver.
Per-driver pricing punishes you for growing. We don’t. Every plan includes all four apps and support — pick by monthly order volume, and scaling your fleet never means renegotiating your stack.
Every plan starts with a 15-day free trial — full access, no card required.

How does switching work?
Export your drivers and open orders, import them by CSV, and run a day in parallel on the trial. Onboarding and migration help are included on every plan.
Is there a minimum contract?
Plans are monthly and can be cancelled at any time. The 15-day trial is full access with no card required.
What happens if we exceed our monthly order volume?
You move up a plan band rather than being metered per order. We would rather tell you the number in advance than surprise you in arrears — ask and we will map your volume to a plan before you start.
